After recently announcing the Nubia Z17 Mini, the company seems to be preparing to announce a more powerful iteration, ZTE Nubia Z17, which has just surfaced on the Geekbench website. According to the listing, the handset bears the model number NX563J.
It is being presumed that, the phone in the listing is the Nubia Z17; since the Z17 Mini was also put-up with a similar model number, NX569J, when it appeared on the TENNA, even before its launch.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Nubia Z17 is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, clocked at 1.90GHz with Octa-Core chipset, which is the Qualcomm’s latest addition. Moreover, the device is expected to arrive with a 4GB of RAM. But while considering that the Z17 Mini arrived with a 6GB RAM, the RAM purported here for the Z17 could possibly be a base variant.
On the software front, the device is said to run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat, right out of the box. Aside from the specs details, the listing also prevails how well the phone performed on the Geekbench’s bench-marking website.
Yes, the benchmark scores are really good and is comparable to that of the Galaxy S8+’s score. The Nubia Z17 hits 1835 points on the single core performance test and 6379 points on the multi-core.
In further, the new Nubia Z17 is expected to be announced in China, while its predecessor was also announced in the same market. The sad part is, unfortunately the pricing, and availability details aren’t disclosed yet.
Since, now the Nubia Z17 has started surfacing online, we can expect some more leaks and reports soon, revealing the specifications, launch date and the pricing details of the phone, before the device would be officially announced.
However, as of now there have been no official words about it, though we expect something will turn-up in the near future. Stay tuned, we will report you back, as soon as any new listing surfaces online.
