A couple of days ago, we saw a ZTE smartphone leak out of Russia and in this leak, we got to see the hands-on image of the unit expected to launch as the Blade V8. Today, the bigger bother of the Blade V8 gets the same leak treatment, and it’s better than what we saw for the little sibling.
In today’s leak, we get to see the press renders and full spec sheet of the ZTE Blade V8 Pro. Expected to launch alongside the Blade V8, both of them might be having the same kind of naming system but they do look like different units from the back. No doubt, they are both supposed to come out of the box with a dual rear camera setup.
The Pro version, however, takes a vertical arrangement for these camera sensors and makes use of a plastic back instead. Digging into the other features, this unit is extending to feature a 5.5 inch of screen with 1080p. Going under the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display, one would be faced with the QUALCOMM snapdragon 625 chipsets.
For memory allocations, the CPU is rated at 3GB of RAM and paired to an internal storage space of 32GB. There is a microSD card slot on board for those that wish to improve the storage on the unit. Moving on, the rear dual cameras carry 13MP sensors each and have the capability to record 4K videos.
The selfie generation has not been forgotten with a nicely placed 8MP front camera. Running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro is expected to draw its power from a 3140mAh battery. From the leaked report, it was also confirmed to be sold in the US for a price tag of $230 which is a fair bargain, given the specs the device offers.
