This month, during the Consumer Electronics Show, ZTE announced a new lineup of mid-range handsets, ready to hit the US market, the Blade V8 Pro being one of them. This is definitely an inspired move from the Chinese manufacturer, considering its increasing popularity in global markets!
For just $230, you’re getting an unlocked smartphone, with slots for two SIM cards, and a more than decent spec sheet.
To be more specific, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch display, rocking a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a fingerprint scanner mounted right under it, embedded in the physical home button.
Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 625 chip, aided by 3 GB of RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage, expandable, thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot. As for the camera department, it consists in a dual 13 MP setup on the back, a feature that’s becoming very popular lately, even in the lower-end segment.
The ZTE Blade V8 Pro is powered by a 3,140mAh battery, chargeable through an USB Type-C port. Also, thanks to Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology, you can refill to 100% fast. Again, seeing this at a mid-ranger is nothing but good news and the same thing can be said about the USB Type-C port!
It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which might be a minus for some people, but it’s not a major disadvantage, considering the rest of the specs.
Starting with today, you can get your own Blade V8 Pro from B&H Photo, Newegg or zteusa.com.
