From a set of leaked photos that detailed the unannounced ZTE’s Blade V8 (they finally settled on a name, and it’s cool too), the device can be seen in all of its full glory. It has that slim look and feel of premium builds and caps that off with a metallic finish.
The device incorporates a first too, being the premier ZTE device to carry a home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner on the front. Even though this is supposed to hit the markets soon, do us the honour of being the ones that gave you the spoilers.
Specs wise, the ZTE Blade V8 is expected to run on a QUALCOMM snapdragon 453 chipsets which can reach a total clock speed of 1.4GHz and carry 3GB of RAM, paired with an internal storage space of 32GB.
From what we have seen so far, this might look like a high end to the eyes, but it does scream nothing short of mid-range at heart. In what is supposed to be a fairly priced unit, we are surprised that they have thought about giving us a dual camera setup on the back. Very soon, this could a constant feature on mid-range units too.
The dual camera sensors aren’t as big and impressive as the ones we have been seeing though, given that one of them is rated at 13MP and the second comes at a meagre 2MP. The second camera is albeit useful given that the information it takes in during every shot enables you to add focus blur effects to the final output.
You would also be able to take pictures before you get the focus on, making the capture of speedy movements a delight. Coming up a little but from the innards, the front panel of the Blade V8 is encompassed by a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 which should make for a clean display at least.
Asides from the fact that the phone would be launching with the 7.0 Nougat out of the box, selfie lovers would be especially pleased with the 13MP sensor upfront.
