ZTE introduced a smartphone duo back in 2016, with the moniker ZTE Blade V7 and V7 Lite, incorporating unbelievably high specs for an affordable price. Later, the Chinese giant again iterated the low price crown, with the ZTE Blade V8. But unfortunately, the Blade V8 didn’t make-up to the expectations. Thus, here comes a new addition to the Blade V7 family, dubbed Blade V7 Plus.
The Plus variant is an upgrade over the Blade V7 smartphone, with some new improvements in its battery, selfie camera and fingerprint sensor. However, most of the other key features are exactly same as the older one.
For instance, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus still sports the same 5.2-inch FHD display with 1080pX resolution; and generates processing power from the outdated MediaTek MT6753 processor, which is paired with a 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage. For further disappointment, the device also seems to be unmoving from the Android 6.0 marshmallow OS; and the 13MP rear camera with single LED flash.
On the plus side, the smartphone has got a fingerprint sensor on the back panel, just below the 13MP camera setup; a 5MP front-facing camera, for shooting selfies; and a 2,540 mAh battery, which still feels significantly less than necessary.
The ZTE Blade V7 Plus had already hit the shelves in Russia and Australia, in Platinum Grey and Gold color options. Let’s wait and see, how the ZTE Blade V7 Plus is received.
