About a couple of months ago, the Yota Devices officially revealed the pricing details of the upcoming smartphone, YotaPhone 3. Yet, we haven’t heard anything about its possible launch date or a complete set of specs. For this, a few press renders has leaked now, providing a handful of information about the device’s specs and the overall outlook.
With respect to the leaked details, the YotaPhone 3 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD primary display up front and also a smaller secondary e-ink display at the back. Remember the previous launches from the company, worn the same secondary display feature. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor is incorporated with the home button in the front, below the primary display.
In terms of cameras, the handset is rumored to adopt a 12MP sensor with dual-LED flash on the rear; and a 13MP sensor for the selfie shooter. Further, the leak manifests that it would pack a 3,200mAh battery for energy and its interface would interpret Android 7.0 Nougat OS. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Type-C USB port and Dual SIM.
Under the hood, there would be a Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. It has already been inferred by the company that the device will arrive in two different storage versions, such as 64GB and 128GB. Hence, the device’s price will vary with respect to the storage variants; i.e. the 64GB variant will cost $350 and the larger variant is put up with the price tag of $450.
However, it seems that the company is planning to launch the YotaPhone 3 in Russia and China, initially. Mind that only the prices have been confirmed officially and all the other details mentioned here are aggregated from the leak. Let’s hope that the company will reveal the other details one by one in future.
