There hasn’t even been a week yet since Xiaomi released the Redmi Pro smartphone in China, and yet we get a new leak. According to the leaked information, the team might be currently working on a smaller version of the Redmi Pro, the Mini one. However, the size doesn’t seem to be the only difference between the two devices.
Of course, given the very nature of this information, nobody can say for sure that it’s true, but it is worth taking into account. They were posted by Kjuma, the Chinese leaker who posted a sketch and specs of the apparently upcoming phone on Weibo.
As it seems, the future Redmi Pro Mini measures 5.2 inches, which means 0.3 inches smaller than the other phone. However, it still has the OLED display at a 1080 p quality, just like the Redmi Pro one. While the big version works on a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25, the smaller version will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, which seems to be a decent choice. Regarding the RAM options with 3 or 4 GB RAM and 32 or 128 GB internal memory, things remain pretty much the same.
What is indeed significant about the specs of the upcoming phone, according to the leaks, is the fact that Redmi Pro Mini will not offer the same dual camera on the back of the phone. However, there is no extra information regarding the camera and its resolution. What we do know is that the phone will have a 4000 mAh battery, which is great, 9V or 2A fast charging, a curved glass look and a fingerprint scanner. All this seems to be more than enough for the Mini version of such a smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini above details are it’s nothing but an unconfirmed rumor for now. But if something from here is true, we can expect to hear a lot more about it in the coming days. Stay tuned fore more details, we are always here updating this piece of information.
