Xiaomi is rumored to be launching a phablet which is expected to be named Redmi Note 5A in coming days. Recently an unofficial Weibo source leaked specifications and photos of the Note 5A. The phablet will be running Android 7.1 Nougat and on top of that well praised MIUI 9 OS. The leak suggests that the price for the 64GB variant is to be expected around $200 to $220.
The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 5A is supposed to feature a Full HD display of 5.5″ size as said by the source. Another detail in the leak says that the phablet will have a Snapdragon 630 chipset and will have three different variants to showcase which are 3 GB RAM + 32 GB Storage, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB Storage, and 4 RAM GB + 64 GB Storage.
The Redmi 5A is a slimmer device as we know from the images and have really slick bezels on the sides. The downside is that it might feature a smaller battery of 3,790mAh as compared to Redmi 5. Apart from that, the camera on the back, Sony Exmor 16-megapixel sensor spotted with f/2. 0 aperture and the front one are Sony Exmor 13-megapixel sensor with the same aperture as the rear camera.
