After initially revealing the prices, Xiaomi made the Redmi Note 4X official in China, so a couple of press images, showing off the handset’s design, were spotted online!
As mentioned previously, the handset comes in several color options, like Platinum Silver Gray, just like the model in the press images, as well as Cherry Powder, Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and a special Green finish, for the Hatsune Miku limited edition, which comes alongside a custom power bank and case.
Design-wise, the Redmi Note 4X is rocking a metal unibody, reminding us a lot of the original Note 4, introduced back in 2016. We can spot a power button and a volume rocker. and this are pretty much all the buttons present on this phone, while on the back it has a fingerprint scanner, placed conveniently under the rear camera.
The display measures 5.5 inches and has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while under the hood it comes with a Snapdragon 625 chip, with an octa-core configuration. The processor is aided by 3 GB of RAM and the storage capacity counts 32 GB.

Moving on to the camera department, it’s represented by a 13 MP rear snapper, as well as a 5 MP selfie unit, while the spec sheet is completed by a 4,100mAh battery and Dual SIM support.
Currently, this is the only configuration in which the Redmi Note 4X is available, retailing at CNY 999. However, the manufacturer is also planning to release a 4 GB of RAM + 64 gigs of space in the near future.
