Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Officially Unveiled In India, Available in three variant

Nothing prepares the world better to receive Xiaomi’s latest smartphone a the tech company has officially taken the wraps off its latest Redmi Note 4 in India. India’s market now gets the Redmi Note 4 which according to the smartphone company is available in three variants.

The three variants of the Redmi Note 4 include that 2 GB of RAM variant which is loaded with 32 GB of on-board storage memory and will be available for a pricing of  INR 9,999 ($146). The second variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the 3 GB of RAM version which is also loaded with 32 GB of on-board storage memory and available for INR 10,999 ($161) while the third and last variant according to the smartphone manufacturer is the 4 GB of RAM variant loaded with 64 GB of storage memory and available for INR 12,999 ($190).

Specs packed on the latest device; the Redmi Note 4 includes the unibody design made of aluminum design and the 5.5-inch screen layered with 2.5D curved glass. The display boasts of a1080p IPS LCD and under the hood is the Qualcomm’s 14nm FinFET Snapdragon 625 chipset. The chipset running under the hood of the device is, however, a step down the expected Snapdragon 650 chipset used in the Redmi Note 3 although the Snapdragon 625 chipset boasts of a more powerful and efficient as it increases battery life by 25 percent according to claims made by the smartphone company.

The device which has now been launched globally runs on the MediaTek Helio X20 processor and is packed with a whopping 4,100 mAh battery although the downside to this is that the smartphone does not feature a fast charging feature.

Camera-wise, the smartphone features a 13 MP camera on the rear panel which is fitted with the phase detection auto-focus technology while on the front panel, the smartphone features a 5 MP selfie snapper. The Redmi Note 4 also boasts of support for dual SIM function integrated with the VoLTE technology. The smartphone comes rolling out with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 layered on top.

According to report, the Android 7.0 Nougat should roll into the device which will be available on FlipKart and Mi.com as from January 23 at 12:00 pm soon.
