The latest smartphone from the Xiaomi, Redmi 4X, lined up in the Redmi series, in China. It falls under the budget category that sports a 5 inch HD display screen, with a 2.5D curved glass on top, rendering a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
Also it packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and LED flashlight; the front shooter has a 5 MP sensor, with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. Moreover, on the software front, this Redmi 4X is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon SoC processor that is integrated with the Adreno 505 GPU.
It arrives in a metallic unibody design that just looks pretty cool, for a low budget phone. And we obviously know that the Xiaomi is the only brand that provide several cool features at relatively lower prices, when compared to other brands in the market.
The Redmi 4X is made available in two different variants, based on the internal storage capacity. One of it is the 16GB, with 2GB RAM, priced at 699 Yuan / US$ 101 / INR 6790 approximately; whereas the other one is 32GB, with 3GB RAM, priced at 899 Yuan / US$ 130 / INR 8735 approximately. However, on both the variants, the internal memory is expandable to the extent of 128GB by means of a microSD card.
Coming to the specs front: It packs a powerful 4,100mAh battery that energizes the whole unit for up to 15 hours of continuous video playback, 2 full days of usage, and 18 days in standby. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, with the MIUI 8 on the top. It has got a fingerprint sensor at its back; Infrared sensor; supports hybrid dual nano SIM; and the supported connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Redmi 4X measures 139.24 x 69.96 x8.65 mm in dimensions, weighs about 150g and is available in three different color variants such as the Champagne Gold, Cherry Pink and Matte Black.
