Xiaomi Redmi 4 Images leaked online – Sport a unibody metal look and a fingerprint sensor

A Weibo user recently leaked some images depicting the much awaited design of the Xiaomi Redmi 4. Rumor has it that the tech company will host an event on the 25th of August in China in order to release the next device, Redmi 3/3S. However, there is little information available about the Redmi 4.

The images that have leaked seem to belong to a Redmi 4 device and show the device just how the company supposedly designed it. However, the design of the new device doesn’t seem to differ much from the lineup that already exists. According to the leaks, the phone will sport a unibody metal look and it will include a fingerprint sensor under the back camera.

Before these leaks, we found out that the phone will run on a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 SoC processor, a full HD display measuring 5 inches and it will have 3 GB RAM. Moreover, it will come together with 32 GB of internal memory and it will run on the latest Android, Marshmallow. However, if you look at the leaked info, it seems that the phone will also offer a different version with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, though it will keep the Snapdragon 625 chipset.

Other specs of the device include MIUI 8, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (with 2.4 or 5 GHz), GPS and of course, Bluetooth v.4.2.

Xiaomi should release this September the second generation of the Mi Note series, a flagship smartphone that is anxiously waited for by everybody. Last month, there were some rumors regarding the Mi Note 2 and according to them, it seems to be a pretty good device too. It will sport either a Quad HD or a 1080p display that will measure 5.7 inches, a 4000 mAh battery, dual camera of 12 MP and a Snapdragon 821 SoC chipset.
