Fans of Xiaomi Mi Note have been expecting a new version for months now. Thankfully, today we have some extra information about specs and maybe a release date for the upcoming Mi Note 2. Though these are leaked information with no official confirmation, we have to admit that the description looks very good.
As it seems, the Mi Note 2 will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, which is an upgrade from the SD 820 processor. The display measures 5.7 inches and it’s a Super AMOLED one. Fans are thrilled of the quality provided by the display, since it comes in two versions, a 1080 p and a 2K resolution. Besides the two options, it seems that there will be a third one, also with 2K, but with curved edges. They will all have pressure sensors and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass. Most likely they will also include a fingerprint scanner.
The ROM and RAM configurations also seem to be flexible and you will be able to choose between quite a few of them. Depending on your needs, you will find a 4 GB/32 GB, 6 GB/64 GB and 6 GB/128 GB. The rest of the specs look quite appealing too. The devices come together with a USB Type-C ports, a 4.2 version of Bluetooth, IR, VoLTE, full network support and NFC.
Moreover, the sound quality is also top notch, since it includes dual speakers and Hi-Fi audio. Mi Note 2 will run on a 4000 mAh battery. This means the device will last long enough to satisfy even the pickiest customer. Plus, you can charge it rapidly using the Quick Charge 3.0 feature.
The base version (1080p display, 4 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage) will cost 2499 Yuan ($376), but it can reach even 2799 Yuan if you add the best options. Mi Note 2 should be launched on September 5th.
