As we all know that Xiaomi has already sent invites for the September 11 event, which is believed to be the announcing-day of Mi Mix 2. Now, in the invitation poster itself, Xiaomi has made clear that the whichever device the company will announce, would feature a fully bezel-less display. The company calls it Full Screen 2.0 Design.
Now, we have come across few leaks, which explains a lot about the Mi Mix 2 and suggest that the device may come with Snapdragon 836 chipset and Android 8.0 out of the box. Now, if these specifications are true, then this device would become the first non-Google device to have Android 8.0 out of the box and also the first device to have Snapdragon 836 chipset.
As of now, we have guessed Snapdragon 836 chipset for several devices, but we never guessed that MI Mix 2 would come up with this slightly better version of Snapdragon 835 chipset, which comes in Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8. Adding more, the leak also reveals that the device would get Android 8.0 with a touch of MIUI 9. Coming to the display, it is believed that the device would get a 6.2 inches full bezel-less display. In earlier leaks, it was said that the device would 6.0 inch of display.
As far as other specifications are concerned, it is believed that the device would feature a dual rear camera sensor as well as dual front camera sensors, 4,400mAh battery with fast and wireless charging support, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the company would also introduce 3D facial recognition technology with this device.
We are really waiting eagerly for the September 11. As far as pricing is concerned, it is believed that the device would get a price tag of $600.
