Recently, Xiaomi introduced a new member to its Mi series. There were so many leaks and speculations about the phone for a while, and finally all the secrets about the Mi 6 had been revealed, over a month ago.
And now, the doors for the pre-registrations of the device, has been opened, to its much-awaited fans. Yes, Giztop (the official retailer shop of Gizmochina) have started accepting pre-orders for the phone, as an early-bird, on its website.
However, the price enlisted here, is much higher than the suggested retail cost, we were expecting. At the retailer, you can get the base version of the Mi 6 with 64GB storage option for $499, instead of the previously prompted cost of around $363.
Further, the base version will available in three different color variants such as Black, Blue, and White. Suppose, if you are looking to hold the 128GB variant, then you will have to shell out $599, instead of the recommended around $422. Yet, this version is only available in either Black or Blue colors.
But actually, as a matter of fact, the price of the Mi 6 are very reasonable, since they are extensively lower than their closest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S8’s. Hence, it is still a great deal to catch-up at the Giztop’s website, regardless of the high price tag.
Moreover, according to the product specifications on the site, the Mi 6 will be featuring a 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor; 5.15-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution; 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.0 storage options; and a 3350mAh battery for quick charge support.
Finally, it is stated that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will start shipping, from the beginning of May 2017, on the Giztop website. Additionally, the phone is also offered a 2-years warranty plus worldwide shipping.
