The Mi 6 is a ravishing flagship from the house of Xiaomi, getting heads turned towards it. Eventually, it kindled high level of anticipation, for its availability outside China. But, before that could happen, now the company has threw a new surprise, with the Ceramic version of Mi 6. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also confirmed the new version to go on sale, starting from tomorrow.
The official confirmation was done today on Weibo, by the company. Yes, we know that: anything from China, is from Weibo. The official post, even featured a poster of the new version, depicting the date and other details. Accordingly, it will be available for purchase, at the Xiaomi Mall, on May 23rd, starting from 10 AM onward.
In further, it is needless to say that the new comer will sport a ceramic glass body, which adds a way further beauty quotient to it. Besides, its dual rear camera is adorned with an 18K gold-plated ring, surrounding it. Specs-wise the phone will still be the same as the standard version, but the catch is, only the 128GB storage variant is available in the Ceramic version.
For those who are not aware, the Xiaomi Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 OS, skinned with MIUI 8 and is featured with a 5.15-inches touchscreen display, with an amazing screen-to-body ratio of 71.4%; powered by the latest Snapdragon 835; 6GB if RAM; and packs a 3350 mAh non-removable battery.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the phone holds a tag that reads 2999 Yuan, which approximately nears $435. Whereas, the standard version is currently priced at 2499 Yuan for the 64GB variant and 2899 Yuan for the 128GB one.
There are no words spilled yet, regarding the availability of the phone outside China. But however, if it all happens, it will definitely be priced at least a $100 more than the price said above. With the fact, only a limited number of handsets will be available on tomorrow’s sale, we expect it to be sold out, within minutes.
