We’re looking forward to seeing some incredible Chinese smartphones this year, a lot of them coming from Xiaomi! The makers of the Mi Mix are currently working on their next flagship duo, consisting in the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus, which seem to be real competitors for Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ and expected to make their debut somewhere in April.
However, since a lot of people are looking forward to buying this handset, we have some good news for them: it’s going to stick to Xiaomi’s pricing policy, being incredibly affordable, considering the high-end specs and premium design.
To be more specific, the Mi 6 will be available with 4GB of RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage, with a price tag of CNY 199 ($290), while the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of space will be priced at CNY 2299 ($333). Also, the most powerful variant, with 6GB of RAM and 128Gb of storage will be available at CNY 2699 ($391).
Moving on to the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, it’s listed at CNY 2599 ($377), for the base version, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the 6GB/128GB version comes at CNY 2999 ($435). Finally, this 5.7″ handset will be available with a ridiculous amount of ram as well – 8GB – and 256 gigs of storage at CNY 3499 ($507), this being the most expensive model.
It’s worth mentioning that there’s no guarantee that these prices are accurate, since Xiaomi didn’t confirm this, but if it turns out to be true, the Mi 6 would be the most affordable flagship of the moment!
