The Xiaomi Mi 6 had been doing great, since its launch, earlier this year. By the way, Xiaomi is on the verge to edge back the scene, with their upcoming Mi 5X. As of now, too many leaks had surfaced online, and yesterday we’ve got to see the alleged renders of the device too. Today, another set of real life press renders have officially emerged from the company’s director, Zang Zhiyuan.
Yes, Xiaomi is supposedly all set to launch its Mi 5X on July 26th, where their MIUI 9 interface is also expected to be launched alongside. Going by the leaked image, we could infer that the handset holds a metal unibody design and curved glass screen on the front. The handset will come in Black, Rose Gold and Gold color options.
The bottom bezel holds the primary microphone, USB Type-C port, speaker grill and audio jack; while a capacitive touch button is placed on the device’s chin. Further, the phone also bears a front-facing camera, an IR blaster at the top; whereas the power and volume keys are placed on the right and the SIM tray is sitting on the left.
Moving to the rear panel, the device flaunts, a horizontally arranged dual camera setup, along with a dual-tone LED flash; a fingerprint sensor, placed below the rear camera; and antenna bands, running across the top and bottom of the rear panel. Specs-wise, the device is said to come with a 5.5-inch display, with 1080p resolution; Snapdragon 625 or 660 processor; and 4GB RAM.
To our surprise, a new smartphone from the house of Xiaomi has been certified by FCC recently; which bears the model name MDG2 and a 3000mAh battery. This will presumably be the Xiaomi Mi 5X that is waiting for the launch ahead. As far as the price is concerned, the device would reportedly cost 1999 Yuan, (approximately $295/ INR 19,000).
