There have been lot of rumours, gossips and speculations on the Xiaomi’s Pinecone processor for a considerable time period now and finally as per recent reports, its inventor has currently decided to unveil it on the February 28th of this year. Well, there are even predictions on, which device will be the first one to facet the Pinecone chipset on board. And it will be the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5C!
The Mi 5C has already made it to the listings of GeekBench and the GFXBench, benchmarking sites, as new reports suggests. These listings have also confirmed the presence of the piece of equipment to come packed with the device. The Xiaomi Mi 5C will sport a 5.5 inches full HD touchscreen display, supporting a 5 finger gesture support. Additionally, the device will be power-driven by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon with 425 Octa-Core processor.
Coming to the storage capacity, the forthcoming Mi 5C is going to come with a 3GB RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage capacity. As well as, the phone is going to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. When it comes to its cameras, the Mi 5C will be equipped with a 12MP primary camera, coupled with LED flash and autofocus feature; while on the front, there is a 7MP selfie shooter.
The Android 7.1.1 Nougat will fit the 5C’s screens, customized according to the Xiaomi’s skin, as it is enabled with the Xiaomi’s MIUI OS on the top of it. But, unfortunately this part of the info seems to be a bit wrong, because Xiaomi haven’t begun to push even the Android 7.0 Nougat to their devices yet, only the Beta build is available currently. So it’s hard to believe that the Mi 5C will ship the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Moreover, it is going to be backed by a decent 3,200 mAh battery and might go on sale at around 1499 Yuan, which roughly comes around INR 14,623.
