Xiaomi has revealed a new product under their MIJIA brand, at an event held today in Beijing. Named, Mi Laser Projector, the new product is a laser projector that can serve entertainment purposes, just like a TV at home.
The Mi Laser projector sports a massive 150-inch display, with an aspect ratio of 16:18 (red light) and 3000:1 (quasi-color). Moreover, the projector also features ALPD 3.0 laser technology, wide color gamut, 5000 lumens of brightness and built-in 0.233:1 short focus lens, enabling it to deliver an effective performance, when placed even at a distance of just 50 cm away from the wall.
A great work is also done on reducing the awkward problems of wires, such that the projector doesn’t occupy much space. Interestingly, Xiaomi touts that the device is extremely durable, with about 25,000 hours of shelve life. It means, you can use it for up to 34 years, with about two hours of usage a day.
With the highly capable features, characterized with the Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector, it is expected to deliver an impressive home theater effect, through the Xiaomi TV’s custom speaker, with a built-in high-power dual full-frequency, and high-fidelity speakers. Additionally, it also supports three external audio.
The device also comes with all the built-in lineaments that comes with the Mi TV, in order to elevate the multimedia experience, in further. The Mi Laser bundles a remote, which supports Xiaomi universal remote control app. This product is speculated to be priced at 9999 Yuan ($1,470) and it will hit the markets on July 4th, through Xiaomi Mall and MIJIA app.
