The handset which made the rounds online last week, making everybody believe that it’s the Xiaomi Mi 5c, made another appearance today! However, it’s not the Mi 5c, as it goes by a totally different name: Xiaomi Meri.
Even though the amount of details about this handset is still low, we still managed to find out a few info about the potential specs and the conclusion was that the Meri will be a very interesting device!
To be more specific, it seems that it will come with a 5.1″ display, with an unknown resolution. Most likely, it will be 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is just enough, considering the size.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Meri will sport an octa-core chip, clocked at 2.2 GHz, aided by 3 GB of RAM, as well as 64 GB of internal storage. Even though there’s no information about a microSD card slot, it should be there, as the manufacturer used us.
Finally, the phone is rumoured to be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, customized with Xiaomi’s UI.
Currently, this is everything we know about the Xiaomi Meri, but according to the latest rumours, the phone should be unveiled at the end of November, so more pictures of it should hit the Web soon.
