Few recent leaks have suggested that the giant Chinese brand, Xiaomi, is planning to come up with a phone in two variants, one would be called as “standard version” and other would be “high version”. The model name is expected to be “Xiaomi 5X”. A recently leaked poster gives a very clear look at what the company is planning to come up with in near future.
As far as specs are concerned, the standard version would get Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage whereas the high version would get Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
However, the recently leaked poster only talks about the standard version with Snapdragon 625 chipset. Talking about its other specifications, it is believed that the device would get a 5.5 inch of full HD. Another leaked report explains that the device would get a 12MP dual rear camera, featuring a Sony and a Samsung sensors. The front facing camera is of 16MP.
As of now, it is believed that both high and standard version would sport similar specifications except for the processor and RAM. However, the company hasn’t confirmed about the device but rumors say that the company would announce this on July 26, the same date Meizu is unveiling their Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus with secondary E-ink display on its back.
