Just a few days ago, the Chinese brand, Xiaomi has launched the next smartphone in the bezel-less series, Mi Mix 2. In the event, it also announced that the company would come up with a special edition of Mi Mix 2 which will feature a ceramic body. And now, few images of Mi Mix 2 in a white ceramic body have appeared on official Weibo account of a Xiaomi official.
Now, seeing the images, one thing is clear that this special edition looks more premium than the regular Mi Mix 2, all thanks to the ceramic body. This special edition phone has almost everything same except for the few things. One more thing to notice here is, at the back, there is nowhere written: “Mix Designed By Xiaomi”. Now, this could be either because we are looking at the “prototype” of the original device or the company has decided not to include it in the special edition.
Apart from the design aspects, it is believed that the special edition would feature 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage while the regular version comes in two variants, one containing 6GB of RAM and other containing 8GB. As far as other specifications are concerned, we believe that remaining all the specification would be same as the regular version of Mi Mix 2.
As a reminder, the regular Mi Mix 2 comes with a 5.99 inch full HD display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, Android Nougat out of the box, 12MP Sony IM386 with OIS support, 5MP front shooter, USB Type C support, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
