Qualcomm has already talked and showcased this display-mounted fingerprint sensor technology at the Shanghai Asian MWC in June and now it seems that the finally a company is working to make a device with that technology. Earlier, when the Qualcomm was showcasing the technology, it used a device which looked similar to Vivo XPlay 6, which launched last year and now the leaks are suggesting that Vivo could be the first company to inherit this technology in its devices.
Well, this is what the latest leaks of Vivo XPlay 7 reveal. The leaked photos of the device show the display-mounted fingerprint scanner at the bottom side of the display, however, few leaks also suggest that the sensor can work from any part of the display. As per as reports, these photos were initially spotted on Weibo and it seems that the pictures were taken from a Powerpoint Presentation.
Now, apart from the display-mounted fingerprint sensor, this device is believed to come with Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 6/8GB of RAM. As far as display is concerned, the device is expected to get a curved display at sides (just like Galaxy S8) with rounded edges. Sadly, we have no information about its display size or quality. At the back, it is believed that the device would get a dual camera sensor.
Additionally, the device would also get dual camera sensor at the front. As of now, it has been said that the Vivo XPlay 7 would go with a code name, Vivo X20. No pricing detail is available currently, but we believe it’s high-end device and can stand against upcoming iPhone 8.
