Last year, Chinese manufacturer Vivo released the X9 and X9 Plus, so it’s obvious that it’s time for an update. Considering this, we weren’t surprised when the details about the upcoming Vivo X9s Plus surfaced online, which will be a smaller variant of the X9 Plus.
Recently, the handset was spotted on China’s certification site TENAA, alongside a detailed spec sheet, so we have an idea about what we can expect from it!
To be more specific, the Vivo X9s Plus will come with a 5.85″ OLED display and a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while a 3920mAh battery will be pushing those pixels. As for what’s under the hood, we’re expecting to see a processor with an octa-core configuration, clocked at 1.95 GHz. The name is still unknown, but we believe that it’s going to be the new Snapdragon 660.
Moving on, the chipset will be aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, with the possibility of expanding it, using a microSD card. As for the operating system, the handset will rely on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat, customized with the manufacturer’s own user interface.
The camera will be represented by a 16MP main unit, while the main attraction will be a dual selfie setup, with a 20MP, as well as a 5MP unit on the front.
The Vivo X9s Plus was listed in Gold on TENAA, but, most likely, it will be available in other colors as well. Nothing about the price, for the moment, though.
