Vivo V5 Plus Pre-order Available On Malaysian Website (DirectD) At Price RM 1,799 ($400)

The Vivo V5 Plus has miraculously found its way online for pre-order. The availability of the phone for pre-order comes about a week earlier than its official release date according to the company. The device which has made its way online has been listed by a Malaysian Retailer, DirectD as available on its website.

DirectD, however, listed the smartphone to be available at a price of RM 1,799 which places it around $400. The price listed for the device which packs a 5.5-inch full HD display with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset under the hood doesn’t seem to have raised brows.

The Vivo V5 Plus along with the octa-core CPU chipset packs other specs including the impressive 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB internal storage memory. On the camera front, the smartphone boasts a whopping 16 MP rear snapper and a dual front camera of 20 MP + 8 MP.

Dimension-wise, the Vivo V5 Plus measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6mm  and is powered by a 3,160mAh battery which runs on the Android 6 Marshmallow powered smartphone.

The official release date of the Vivo V5 Plus has been set for Friday, January 20 and is expected to start shipping a day after on 21st January 16, 2017. According to reports, there’s, however, a mystery gift for those pre-ordering the device ahead of official launch.
