The Vivo V5 Plus is expected to make its official debut on January 23, during a special event in India, but we already got the chance to see what we can expect from it, thanks to a leak that was spotted online today.
It seems that the handset will come with a pretty impressive camera setup, the main focus being the front-facing snapper. Or, better said, snapper, since it will come with two camera: one rocking a 20 MP sensor, utilising Sony’s IMX376 sensor, with f/2.0 aperture, and another one, with just 8 MP. The duo will be accompanied by the Vivo Moonlight flash, making it obvious that this is a selfie-centred device.
Besides this impressive setup, the Vivo V5 Plus will feature a 5.5″ display, with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A Snapdragon 652 chipset, with an octa-core configuration, clocked at 1.8 GHz, will be in charge with powering the phone and will also be aided by 4 GB of RAM. Finally, the internal storage capacity counts 64 GB and we don’t know yet if the phone has a microSD card slot, in order to expand this.
The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAh, just enough for powering this smartphone for a full day of intensive use, and it comes with Quick Charge support, a very nice addition.
Currently, this is pretty much everything we know about the Vivo V5 Plus, but more information will be available after the phone’s official launch, happening in less than three weeks.
