How To Update HTC One A9 To Android 7.0 Nougat Manually

Install Android 7.0 Nougat On HTC One A9 – Manually

 

 

Method 1

Step 1: Enable Developer Options, by going to Settings > About phone and tapping it 7 times.

Step 2: In the Developer Options menu, search for USB Debugging and enable it.

Step 3: Download the ADB and fastboot driver and install it on your PC.

Step 4: Download  Android 7.0 Nougat for HTC One A9 RUU .zip, From Above and copy it in the same folder where ADB is installed.

Step 5: Connect your phone to a PC and boot the phone into Recovery mode, using the following command: adb reboot bootloader. This can also be done manually, by powering off the phone, then holding down Power + Volume Down at the same time. While in Recovery Mode, use Volume Up and Volume Down, in order to navigate, and Power to confirm.

Step 6: If you see the Android robot with an exclamation mark, ignore it. Hold Power and press Volume up.

Step 7: Flash the RUU .zip file, using the following command: adb sideload file_name.zip. The whole process shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.

Step 8: Reboot your phone.

 

Method 2

Step 1: Enable Developer Options, by going to Settings > About phone and tapping it 7 times.

Step 2: In the Developer Options menu, search for USB Debugging and enable it.

Step 3: Download Android 7.0 Nougat for HTC One A9 .zip file and save it on your phone.

Step 4: Connect the phone to a PC and boot it into Recovery Mode.

Step 5: While in Recovery Mod, choose the Install update from phone storage option.

Step 6: Select the OTA file and wait for about 10 minutes, until the update is completed.

Step 7: Reboot your phone.

 

Method 3

–> This method is a bit different, since it’s done using the RUU file.

 

Step 1: Download the HTC One A9 Android 7.0 Nougat RUU.exe file From above, and save them on your phone.

Step 2: Perform a complete backup of the phone and check the battery level! It must be at 50%.

Step 3: Connect the HTC One A9 to a PC and run the RUU.exe file.

Step 4: Simply follow the on-screen instructions in order to install Android 7.0 Nougat on HTC One A9. Your data will be wiped and after the process is completed, the phone will reboot.
