After AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint, have started accepting the pre-orders for the carrier variants, the US based retailer B&H have opened the pre-orders for the unlocked variants of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Actually, Samsung has planned to launch these skinny glass beauties in the US on April 21st (today). But this didn’t happen, instead the new carrier B&H would be busy in starting their pre-orders right now.
To get your hands on the unlocked Galaxy S8, you need to pay a massive $830 for the 64 GB variant. Obviously, this is $80 more than the $750 price tag, which is set for the carrier variant from the AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, while in comparison with the Verizon’s, this is $110 more than the $720, as announced by them earlier.
In the same way, the unlocked Galaxy S8+ is set for $930 for the same 64 GB variant, which is again $80 more than the Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile; as well as $110 more than the Verizon for the carrier variant of the S8+. Unfortunately the sad part is, the exact date to start shipping the pre-ordered device is not mentioned, but they’ve promised to ship them, by the beginning of the next month.
Besides, the Best Buy retailer have also quoted earlier that, they’d sell both the models in the S8 line-up, by May 9th but they haven’t revealed anything about the pre-orders, yet. However, they have stated the prices. Accordingly, here the S8 is priced at $724.99, while S8+ is priced $824.99. Here, the pre-orders may start any moment, keep an eye on their updates.
The other interesting facts about the B&H’s pre-order announcement is that they also include the AKG earbuds that Samsung had promised, and a limited one year of B&H warranty. Here, the phones are available in three different color variants such as Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold color.
