Sony Xperia Z5 (2017) Premium Edition with the Code-name Yoshino To Be Announced At MWC 2017

The most awaited MWC event is drawing near and the latest report states that Sony would come-up with their new innovations at the press conference of MWC 2017. Beyond all the rumors, Ricciolo (known for revealing details), has tweeted that Sony’s new top-notch flagship will be the premium version of ‘Sony Xperia Z5’ (2017) and it won’t be exhibited to the audience in the upcoming MWC event.

Farther, last month a Georgian tech blog has also revealed that Sony would release five smartphones in the year 2017 and among that, one would be code named as ‘Sony Yoshino’, which will have a revamped specs than the other flagships. The post also comprised a few features of Yoshino, disclosing the texture of the device: the screen would be a 5.5-inch touch screen display with a 4k resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. The features of the screen had a resemblance to that of Xperia Z5 Premium, which was released in 2015. This may be the reason for the tattle; hence, the new Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be an advanced version of Xperia Z5 2015.

In addition, the specification of Yoshino includes the latest processor Snapdragon 835 chipset and it may have a combination of either 4 GB or 64 GB of RAM. And as a keyed quality, the device will be equipped with their ultimate Sony IMX400 sensor option.

However, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled by this March, as an initial device with the new Qualcomm’s snapdragon processor 835 and it’s precise that, there won’t be any other device with the same processor before the month of April. Moreover, Ricciolo have also stated that Xperia Z5 premium 2017 edition won’t be unveiled in the MWC 2017, instead its prototypes will be secretly showcased to the media and investors.

Anyhow the rumors of Sony Yoshino are heavily loaded but the MWC event is still concerned for Sony Corporation, because they are going to unveil their mid range Smartphones at the event which are code named as BlancBright, Keyaki, Hinoki and Mineo.
