Sony is not done with releasing new smartphone this year, as, according to a new leak, three more handsets will be introduced in the near future. To be more specific, we’re talking bout the Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact and the X1, which will be announced at the IFA conference.
Focusing on the specs, we first have the Sony Xperia XZ1, powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip and 4GB of RAM, while the display measures 5.2 inches and a 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on.
Next, we have the Xperia XZ1 Compact, also powered by the Snapdragon 835 and 4GB of RAM. The handset will rely on a 2800mAh battery and the display is expected to have 4.6 inches. Basically, this is the shrunken version of Sony’s flagship.
And last but not least, we also have the Xperia X1, a mid-range smartphone, considering the fact that it’s powered by a Snapdragon 660 chip. The phone’s spec sheet also includes a 5.0″ display, 4GB of RAM and 2800mAh battery.
The report that reveals all these details also mentions that the phones will come with a new camera technology, described as “full pixel continuous and shoot.” We’re very curious about this last feature, since it could be what Sony needs to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S8, considered the phone with the best mobile camera now, as well as the HTC U11, which received the highest DXO Mark!
Keep an eye on our site, as we will be back with more details on these, as soon as anything new comes up!
