After Canon, Sony has launched another masterpiece in India for Rs 3,29,990. We are talking about the Sony A9 Mirrorless Camera, which as the name suggests a mirrorless camera, hence more compact, more lighter and more advanced. This device comes with a 24.2 MP with the company’s latest 35mm stacked CMOS sensor technology.
Now, this stacked CMOS sensor technology and improved BIONZ X image processing engine in A9 boosts the data processing speed up to 20 times, which is more than any previous full-frame Sony’s camera. With such technology, A9 is capable of blackout-free shooting up to 20 frames per second with AF/AE tracking.
The A9 Mirrorless camera has 693 phase detection autofocus points that cover almost 90 percent of the sensor’s frame along with Sony’s five axis image stabilization with 5 level shutter speed advantage. Additionally, the camera has silent, vibration-free Anti-Distortion shutter, sensitivity up to ISO 204800 and 4K video recording capability.
This A9 Mirrorless camera also has a 3 inch TFT flexible display with touch control and WhiteMagic, which improves the display experience in outdoor brightness. This camera also comes with two slots for storage cards, one supports SD cards and another one supports either SD or Memory Stick cards.
Additionally, it has built in GPS, NFC, Wi Fi, Bluetooth and micro HDMI for network communications. Adding more, it also has dedicated LAN port which basically lets you transfer still images to an FTP server. Now, as far as pricing is concerned, the A9 Mirrorless camera gets a price tag of Rs 3,29,990 and will be available from July 29.
