Just days before the announcing event of Sharp, in which we have been expecting some “amazing” devices, few leaks have come out which share the idea of bezel-less display. Now, we all know that in recent years, companies have been trying to cut the bezels and Sharp has already launched it’s few bezel-less devices in recent past, sadly these devices failed to attract customers. And seeing the recent leaks, it seems that the company is again with the same idea of launching bezels device.
Now, coming to the leak, which is just an image showing a corner of a bezel-less device which is being held in hand. Surprisingly the way it’s held matches perfectly with a teaser photo of the Essential phone by Android co-founder Andy Rubin. Apart from the way of presenting teaser, the phone seems complete bezel-less from the upper side.
As of now, we have no clue how its lower side would look like but seeing the upper side, we can conclude that the device would have the front facing camera and earpiece on the center cutout, which seems quite weird. According to the leak, the device would get a fingerprint scanner at the back and run on latest Android 7.1.1.
Another leak reveals that there might be two variants, one would get Snapdragon 660 whereas another one would get Snapdragon 830 chipset. Both variants would get a 5.5 inch full HD 2K display with 12MP dual rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. Some other leaks suggest that device would come with either 4GB or 6GB RAM along with 64GB of internal storage.
