The Infinity Display

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has a stunning eye catching look and this is all thanks to the Infinity display. Therefore let’s have a look at the curved masterpiece. The Galaxy S8 has a5.8 inches Quad HD + Super AMOLED display with 570 ppi pixel density and the S8 Plus has 6.2″ Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 529 ppi.

This curved display provides a perfect ground for user viewing with a bezel-less design. in the Galaxy S8 18.5:9 display is perfectly enough to enjoy 21:9  movies and videos. The smart brothers also have a Snap Window feature which will let you pin any app from the recent app list to certain area of the home screen. Because of this feature, the rest of the screen space will be available to use with other applications.

Bixby

 Bixby

Samsung’s Bixby is making a debut with the Galaxy S8 and S8 plus. It’s a smart virtual assistance AI which will easy your efforts with contextual information. And what’s batter is that Galaxy S8 devices are also equipped with a dedicated hardware button for Bixby.  Bixby works only with the native applications like Messages, Camera etc and the real-world performance of Bixby is yet to be discovered.

Samsung DeX

One of the best feature Samsung embedded in the S8 devices is Samsung DeX. Samsung DeX is a mobile to PC transition tool which means your phone can now also work as a computer similarly Microsoft’s Continuum feature. It will provide users an android based desktop experience. To use this feature, the user has to connect the device to the DeX station. DeX also supports HTMI for enhanced picture quality, and there are other connectivity options available like Bluetooth, USB, and RF keyboard and mouse.

Samsung Connect

Samsung Connect is a feature made especially for IoT devices. With this one application, users will be able to control all of their smart devices and more than that this will also support third party devices. This unified app will ease the user experience while managing and monitoring multiple IoT devices. But for now, it is available for selected 2017 Samsung IoT devices.

Configurable virtual navigation keys

Another new feature is the configurable virtual navigation keys. Because of lacking a capacitive button panel in front, Samsung has provided onscreen nav. buttons. And to increase the usability now you can configure the virtual keys. One the other hand the Home button stays always ON even when the phone is locked. With a little press, you can access the button. And for theming the panel you can also change the background color. Which is a pretty decent enhancement to this particular feature.

With a bezel-free design and sharp display performance, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is a strong flagship contender. After the failure of Galaxy Note 7, I think the Galaxy S8 series is all Samsung needed. The pre-orders are already started for the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, therefore you can order your phone right away.
