There’s just one month left until the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8 will finally make its debut, so we weren’t that surprised when we saw the first live images with the actual device, leaked by a Chinese case manufacturer!
As you can see, it will come with a dual-curved display, as well as plenty of sensors on the top of the front panel, including the front-facing camera and the rumored iris-scanner. We can’t guarantee for the latter, but considering the cutouts on the panel, it should be there!
Moving on to the bottom of the Samsung Galaxy S8, we can see a USB Type-C port, the almighty 3.5mm jack and a speaker, most likely made by Harman, the audio company Samsung acquired recently.
But this is not everything, as another image with the handset revealed the contextual Grace UX menu, replacing Samsung’s old TouchWiz. Also, it seems that the Galaxy S8 won’t offer a full bezel-less experience, like the Xiaomi Mi Mix, for example, but still, the display-size ratio remains impressive.
The South Korean manufacturer’s next flagship will be available in two versions, one with a 5.7″ display, which is basically the regular Galaxy S8, as well as a ridiculously big 6.2″ version, known as Galaxy S8+. We’re really curious if the latter will be a success…
The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip, since Samsung bought pretty much all the stock, and feature a fingerprint scanner on the back, as well as a special button, dedicated to the company’s own AI system, Bixby.
