Samsung Galaxy S8 Concept Renders Surfaces Online, Designed By Lee Kingway

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is still two months away from , but we already have a few ideas about what to expect from the South Korean manufacturer’s flagship. Considering this, A graphics designer Lee Kingway imagined an incredibly good looking concept, which shouldn’t be too far from the consumer edition of the handset.

The images, spotted on Weibo, features ultra-narrow bezels at the top and bottom, while on the sides…they’re virtually invisible, as the display has a slightly increased curvature, compared to previous models.

Moving on, above the Super AMOLED covering pretty much the entire front of the Galaxy S8, we can spot an iris scanner, alongside the front-facing camera and sensors. And there’s no sign of a physical home button either! In some way or another, the concept reminds us of Xiaomi’s Mi Mix, especially due to the thin side bezels, and this isn’t a bad thing at all!

On the bottom of the concept, we can see a USB Type-C port, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, which, hopefully, will be present on the real deal as well. This would definitely be a big plus for the manufacturer, considering that HTC decided to ditch it and Motorola might follow their example.

The rumors are pointing to a new virtual assistant for the Galaxy S8, called Bixby, while the camera setup should remain unchanged. After all, why fix something which was already incredibly good?

Finally, there’s one more detail we can’t ignore: the fingerprint scanner on the back. Due to the lack of a physical home button, this seems the most convenient place for the scanner. However, there were some rumors claiming that it will be placed somewhere under the display, but, if you ask us, mounting it on the rear of the phone seems more likely.
