Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Officially Launched With 1 Gigabit LTE, Snapdragon 835 and 4GB RAM

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ launch event is finally here, at the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center in New York. Yes, the extremely anticipated devices are finally out. Well, it seems that after unveiling these two highly anticipated devices, in front of its fans and press people, Samsung is very much gratified. They are apparently the first phones to come with the 1 GB LTE support, which is made possible through their processor. We already know that the processor will be market specific, being either a Snapdragon’s or the Exynos’s.

If you think that the 4 GB RAM / 64 GB internal storage is inadequate, you will be surprised to know that there is also a 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage, however that will be available for the China and Korea only, for now.

Two more interesting things are the fingerprint sensor and the Bixby button. Yes, the rumors were true! The fingerprint sensor is moved to the back of the phone, which is hugely new to the company.
