Samsung has already sent invitations for the event on August 23rd, in which we are believing that the company might announce the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Now, before the official announcement, few reliable sources, including Evan Blass, have come up with a list of specifications which the Galaxy Note 8 would probably get.
Now, coming to the design aspect first, the device looks similar to the Galaxy S8 Plus but it’s not identical, as the display in the Note 8 has less-rounded edges as compared to S8. The bezels on the top and bottom seem little larger, however, we are not sure about this. Another major thing to notice here is, the Note 8 gets dual rear camera sensors with LED flash and fingerprint scanner mounted, just like we see in S8.
As far as specifications are concerned, then it is believed that the device would get an Exynos 8895 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, few other reports have claimed that the company may come with Snapdragon 835 chipset with the same set of RAM and internal storage in the US. One report says that if the company announces Note 8 on August 23, then the phone would become available from September with a price tag of €999.
Talking about the display, the Galaxy Note 8 would probably get a 6.3 inch large Super AMOLED display (18.5:9 aspect ration) with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As far as the camera is concerned, the device may get 12MP dual rear camera sensor. Now, one camera lens would be wide angle lens with a f/1.7 aperture. Reports also suggest that both the sensors would have Optical Image Stabilization feature.
Now, the Galaxy Note 8 would also feature an 8MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. Additionally, the device is believed to get iconic S-Pen (which every Note has), USB Type C support, 3,300mAh battery with fast and wireless charging support, IP68 certification (water and dust proof). As of now, it is believed that the device would be available in two color variants, Midnight Black and Maple Gold.
