Yet, we couldn’t say, it’s eye-catchy, though we should keep in mind that it is fairly a mediocre. Hence, the same would go, even for the specs, a suitably lower-end one. The existing Galaxy J5 (2016), features a Snapdragon 410 chipset, 2GB of RAM, along with a 720p display, and expectantly the new one, will also hold the same aspects.

Summing-up all the trust worthy reports so far, we could expect that the new upcoming J5 (2017) will be powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset; and is expected to come with a 12MP front-shooter for selfies, which will definitely be a better camera than the previous one. In case of the rear camera, it will be a 12MP one that is quite similar to the older model.

In further, the new handset, is expected to be featured with a 4.8-inch display. Well, if so, it will be a smaller one, when compared the 5.2-inch display of the older one. Though, the display size seems to be the lessened, the device will retain the same screen resolution of 720 x 1280 PX.

Regarding the OS, there are too many dissents, among the various reports, so far. So, it is still unknown, whether the Galaxy J5 (2017) will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow or with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat version. All these confusions can be cleared later on, after the device’s launch. Stay tuned with us, until then.
