Samsung has recently announced a new device for the Chinese market, Samsung Galaxy C8, which is one among few devices from Samsung to feature a dual camera setup at the back. The device has two camera sensors, 13 MP and 5 MP, with aperture f/1.7 and f/1.9 respectively, on the back while it has one 16MP shooter with aperture f/1.9 on the front side for selfie lovers.
Now, the dual camera sensor of the device is capable of dual photo mode, which is nothing but a feature that allows the users to adjust the focus after capturing the snap. This means that you can now change the focus of the photo, even after capturing the snap. It would surely be a welcoming feature for the photogenic users. Additionally, the device comes with Samsung’s Always-On Display feature that allows users to check notification, even when the display is off.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the device gets a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.4 GHz and a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. The device is available in two variant, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The good part is, both variants have a dedicated microSD slot to expand the storage.
Now, the device also gets fingerprint sensor as well as facial recognition technology. Please note that facial recognition and Iris scanner are two different things. This device doesn’t have Iris scanner. Additionally, the device gets a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 out of the box. Sadly, we have no information about pricing and availability as these details are yet to be confirmed.
