This would be a pretty much hectic season for the Samsung. Apart from preparing for the launch of the Android Galaxy Tab S3, which is expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2017 on February 26th, the company is also briskly engaged with its upcoming, new Windows tab.
As per the previous reports, this Windows Tablet might be called as the Samsung Galaxy Book, which is purported to sport an AMOLED display, and also claims to support a stylus pen as an additional accessory. Now, a few more of its characteristics have been revealed through a Book Settings app that is featured in the Windows Store as of now. Thanks to the app, in which, more of the tab’s features have surfaced, giving more clear details about it.
According to the details from the app, the slate will support LTE connectivity, and the functions of its stylus will be similar to that of the Galaxy Note’s S Pen. The stylus will be able to activate the Air Command to access several elements on their device such as Smart Select, Screen write and S Notes.
It will sport an AMOLED display, which would most probably be of 10.2 inches in size, however its resolution is still unknown. Assuming the alleged size true, this tab will be a smaller one, when compared to the previous Windows tablet from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Pro S, which came out with a 12 inch display.
Besides, there are also an array of interesting features revealed at the app. As per it, the tablet features the Samsung’s Smart Dimming function that will make the backlight on, when we look on to the screen. The timeframe for the launch of this Samsung Galaxy Book is not yet clear; anyhow, it is going to be an interesting slate on the market.
