Earlier this year, Samsung has launched Galaxy A7 (2017) and now the company has relaunched the same smartphone in South Korea, with some additional features. Before, there was no Bixby support in the smartphone, but now, the variant which is relaunched in South Korea gets Bixby support. The phone is already up for pre-order at SK Telecom and gets a price tag of 588,500 won, which translates into Rs 33,100 INR.
As per as the report published by Android Authority, the specifications and the features remain same as the previous version except for the additional Bixby support. Bixby is a Virtual Assistance designed by Samsung and launched with Samsung Galaxy S8. But the weird part is, Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 plus have a dedicated Bixby button to activate the assistance, which is missing in this device (Galaxy A7). Not only this, there is no support of Bixby’s voice but the experts believe that soon this feature would be added by updates.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy A7 (2017) gets a 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone also features an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, there is also an option for the external micrSD card up to 256GB.
Talking about the camera, the smartphone gets 16MP of rear side camera and a 16MP of a front-facing camera. To last longer, the phone is bundled with 3,600 mAh battery and also have fast charging option. Additionally, the phone has front mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE support, USB Type C support, Samsung Pay and much more. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow but it is believed that the company would provide Nougat update in near future.
