Reliance started taking registrations for network trials.

Today Reliance have made Jio.com live for users. But there are no news of commercial launch. The company is now taking registration for interested users. On jio.com reliance has introduced a number of apps. This includes JioChat , JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, MyJio,  JioDrive, JioJoin, JioSecurity and JioMoney. These apps are made public today.

Reliance will provide instant messaging service with their Jio char messenger. Where device security can be managed by Jio Security app. Contents like TV program can be accessed through JioPlay app. The company also offers a wallet which allows users to recharge their accounts, which is the JioMoney app. They also offer a video chat app, JioJoin. For the news category company offers JioExpressNews app wich will keep you updated about all the news.

Reliance has made this service available for both android and ios platform. Android users can download these apps using the Google Playstore and ios users can use App Store. The website also gives a nice description of the app and how to use. Existing users of the jio service can also recharge their accounts with this website.

The website jio.com says

“Jio is not just a telecom network, it is an entire ecosystem that allows Indians to live the digital life to the fullest. This ecosystem consists of devices, broadband networks, powerful applications and services, distributed to every doorstep in India,”

The media offered by website includes spots, live and catch-up television, movies, events, programming of recorded and live music, and comprehensive library. Reliance started an employee referral program last month. Under this program employees and their friends were given up to 10GB free voice data for three months with the invite-only model.
