At MWC 2017, Huawei Launched its latest watch, Huawei Watch 2, but the same watch has now got a new design (a little) and relaunched in Europe at a hefty price. Well, the only noticeable change in the watch is, “Porsche Design” printed on the ceramic speedometer. Yes, you heard it right and with this design touch, the price of Watch 2 (Porsche Edition) reaches to €795.
Talking about the specifications, this luxury edition watch comes with a 1.2 inch AMOLED display to provide a crystal clear view. This Porsche Designed Huawei Watch 2 is powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Additionally, this watch features Heart Rate Monitor Sensor, GPS, IP68 Certification (Water and Dust Resistant), NFC, Microphone and other important sensors.
Now, the sad part is this very luxurious watch doesn’t even support LTE, which the regular Huawei Watch 2 supports. Apart from the LTE services, you get all the specifications identical to the regular Huawei Watch 2. As far as battery is concerned, the device comes with 420mAh battery with fast charging option. Now the company claims of giving 48 hours of backup at moderate usage.
So, the fact is, if you are Porsche fan and you have a lot of money in the bank, then surely you can go for the Watch but if you want the same features or some more (regular Watch 2 supports LTE) then surely you should buy the regular Huawei Watch 2, which is available for $370.
