Ever since the Find 7 was released, in 2014, Oppo fans have been eagerly waiting for a high-end flagship from the Chinese manufacturer and it seems that they could finally see it this year, since the Oppo Find 9 should make its debut. And if we look at the latest video with the concept, it’s going to be an incredibly good looking handset!
DBS Designing Team imagined how the phone could look, after analyzing all the rumors about the smartphone. To be more specific, we’re talking about a smartphone with an edge-to-edge display, featuring a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home screen.
At a first look, the Oppo Find 9 shares a couple of design lines with the Find 7, sporting the same rectangular body, slightly curved at the top and bottom. However, the Find 9 comes with a 5.5″ AMOLED display, as well as a USB Type-C port, while the Skyline notification light, one of Oppo’s signature features, is also present.
In terms of specs, the concept is relying on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 chip, aided by 6 GB of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. On the back, it comes with a 13 MP camera, while the selfie unit takes it one step further, using a 16 MP sensor. As for the battery, it’s a massive 5000mAh power pack, with VOOC fast charging.
Until now, it was believed that the Oppo Find 9 will run the manufacturer’s own Color OS, but this concept is using the all new FindOS, based on Google’s latest dessert, Android 7.0 Nougat.
We must admit, the phone looks incredibly good and the specs aren’t bad either. Actually, you couldn’t ask for more at this point of the year, since most flagships are rocking similar configurations.
The Find 9 is rumored to make its debut in the first half of the year, but, for the moment, the trail is pretty cold, so we wouldn’t take this for granted.
