According to the previous leaks and rumors, we already know that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is preparing to launch a new mid-range handset – dubbed as Oppo A77. Now the company has officially announced its upcoming Oppo A77 on its own Taiwanese website. Moreover, the registration gate will open for pre-order from May 19 onward in Taiwan.
Compared to its predecessor A57, this device offers any better specs? Of course, Oppo A77 would pack to ship in every retailer shop with improved specs. To be precise, it features a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080p resolution.
Further, the device is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset. While talking about the memory specs, the phone will retain 4GB of RAM and 63GB of built-in storage that can be expandable through MicroSD card. Well, the A77 also includes a hybrid SIM slot for single SIM or dual SIM slots.
For photography, there is a 13MP of rear camera f/2.2 aperture with phase detection auto focus and LED flash setup. On the front, the A77 has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, it comes with the latest Beauty 4.0 version and Portrait mode.
The phone draws a power from the 3,200 mAh battery. Even though the A77 holds a bigger battery, it has a 7.3 mm of thickness and 153g of weight. From designing part, the Oppo A77 comes in a metal unibody with different color variants such as Gold and Rose Gold.
There is also a fingerprint sensor that is embedded into the home button. In terms of connectivity, the device would support 4G, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Finally, the Oppo A77 will ship at NT $ 10,990 (~€ 330/ £ 280/$365/RS 23,600). Well, after the pre-order opened in Taiwan on May 19, the device would available from 26 May.
