Two years ago OnePlus arrived with their $300 smartphone OnePlus One. They also came up with their frustrating invite system to maintain their inventories. And now the eagerly awaited OnePlus 3 is finally confirmed to roll out on June 14. For the launch of this phone, OnePlus will say bye bye to the invite system. The phone will be made available worldwide without any invitations.
It is confirmed from the co-founder of OnePlus MR. Carl pei, that this flagship device will be sold invite free. They have ditched their invite system which was their tradition since the launch of their first device. He posted on OnePlus forums that
“We’re releasing the OnePlus 3 invite-free, right from launch day. In addition, invites are gone forever from future OnePlus product launches,”
They also have launched an android app for live streaming of the launch event. This app is available for download through Playstore. The device will be launched through a virtual event. This event will be beginning at 12.30pm IST. They claim to provide world’s first global VR shopping experience with The Loop app. The phone will be on sale via this application for the first 2 hours. They also have launched a trailer for this Loop app.
The smartphone is expected to be featured with a 5.5-inch screen. Snapdragon 820 will give processing power to this beautiful device. This device has 2 variants which is 32GB and 64GB. The 16Gb model will have 4GB of RAM. And the 64 GB variant has 6GB of RAM. This smart device is integrated with a 16-megapixel primary shooter with 8-megapixel secondary camera. Both of these powerful variants are backed up with the battery power of 3000mAh and 3500mAh respectively. This phone runs their latest version of OxygenOS based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. They also have integrated Near Field Communication in this smart device.
Like the previous smartphones of this Chinese giant, it is expected that this new device will be well packed with powerful performance, great visual and sound quality, with nice sturdy design and with the OnePlus touch.
