So many smartphones that were expected to launch this year, are still under the hold of gossips and leaks. But OnePlus 5 rumor mills have set an overdrive right now. To be precise, the Chinese retailer, GearBest has put forth the specs and design of the OnePlus 5 Smartphone, in its website.
Have you noticed it? The fresh leaks have been surfaced just after the company touted the possible color options and fingerprint sensor in the front, on Twitter. Although, the design of the smartphone is still a question for the enthusiasts, the specs are almost pretty much the same.
Now it’s time to know about the specs and design aspects, revealed by GearBeast. The listing features a new image of the OnePlus 5.
The image clearly infers that the device looks as if the company has done away with the bezels; such a thin bezels and a vertically arranged dual rear camera setup, but however, it doesn’t show a dual camera setup on the front, what it was consistently alleged to have. A LED flash is just placed below the rear camera.
On specs-wise, the OnePlus 5 will flaunt a 5.5-inch QHD display, rendering a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. Under the hood the device will be Powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC, clocked at 2.3 GHz Octa-Core chipset. Further, the device will retain an 8GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to a whopping 128GB.
For shooting your pleasant memories, the camera is adorned with a 23MP rear sensor, while a 16MP one is set for its selfie shooter. And yes, we too have the same confusion regarding this pixel count for the other sensor; as the specs say that there is a dual rear camera setup, but they have mentioned only about a single sensor. What about the other?!
Moreover, the OnePlus 5 supports a list of connectivity options, which includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and GPS. Physically the device measures 152.7×74.4×7.0mm and weighs about 156 grams.
