OnePlus 5 New Teaser Hints One More Color Option for India

Back in last month OnePlus launched its most anticipated smartphone, the OnePlus 5. While the device has already gained a great response across the globe, the company is seemingly endeavored to add more spice to it. This comes from a new teaser image, the company has released via its Twitter, revealing that there could be a new color option for the OnePlus 5 in India.

The image features the device in 3 color variants of which two are the currently available ones (Slate Gray and Midnight Black), whereas the third one is showed just transparent, only with its outline. Moreover, the image has also partnered with some interesting quote: “5omething New. Coming up! Can you guess what it is?

Incidentally, a recent TENAA listing also inferred that the smartphone will be available in three colors. Thus, it’s very much confirmed that there is going to be a new hue for the device. But what could be the new color actually?

Previously, an official teaser released back in May, even before its launch, hinted four different colors. Two of them were deliberately peculiar and never showed-up: A gradient kind and a deep red color. So the third color might be one among those two hues. Further, in contrary, it is also expected that the new color might be Mint Gold, similar to the Soft Gold edition of the Oneplus 3T.

The company is well known for its strategy of releasing surprisingly new color versions to the handset that are already in the market. For example, the company launched a new Midnight Black OnePlus 3T, as a special edition in Paris, recently. The same thing is happening again, but this time with the OnePlus 5. Let’s be patient to know what the color is until something plausible turns up.
