After a couple of interesting teasers and weeks of rumours, OnePlus has finally made the announcement everybody was looking forward to: they’ve been working on a new smartphone, OnePlus 3T, which will be unveiled in exactly one week, on November 15.
However, we’re not going to see a completely new handset, as it’s expected to be an enhanced version of the already available OnePlus 3. Still, this doesn’t mean that we’re not very curious about it!
OnePlus confirmed yesterday that the OnePlus 3T will be powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset, with a quad-core configuration, clocked at 2.35 GHz,less than 24 hours after Qualcomm did the same.

The announcement about the launch was made through a teaser video posted on Twitter an no other details, except the clock speed, were given. However, we expect to see a few more videos like this being posted through the upcoming days.
The OnePlus 3T will also pack an improved battery, with a capacity of 3300 mAh, as well as 128 GB of internal storage, while the operating system will be the company’s own OxygenOS, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Finally, the starting price should be $479, which is $80 more than its predecessor.
We will be back with more details about this as soon as anything new comes up.
